Change-Maker Day is a special day designed to celebrate the thousands of children who believe that one person can make a change!
Within our school workshops we aim to inspire children to believe that their actions can make a change and have a positive impact on their classroom, their school, their community and the wider world. We want to create a new generation of responsible, mature, compassionate global citizens who will challenge inequality and champion human rights.
Change-Maker Day is a non-uniform day where we encourage children across the country to pay £1 to dress up as their favourite superhero or someone who has made a change in the world and who has inspired them. This could be Batman, Mother Theresa, their Nan or even their teacher! All your donations come into Just Enough UK and help us to deliver workshops to more schools.
We will provide your school with fun ‘DIY Superhero’ lesson plans where children design their own superhero! Send us your entries and we will pick winners from your school who will each receive a fantastic prize and certificate.
Please see some winners from last year’s competition in our gallery - http://www.justenoughuk.org/gallery To find out more information on how to host your own Change-Maker Day please fill in the form next to this paragraph.
